With January 2020 around the corner I am going to focus on setting a goal for every month and in January it is going to be to plan for 2020 and see what I can achieve by 1st February 2020.

So what is January about?

What events are happening in January?

I will find out and see what I can achieve in the first 31 days of the year.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Why wait until 2020?

Why wait until the New Year?

It is never easy to change the way that you do things which is why I think that baby steeps are important before making any big changes in ones life.

So why not start now?

One way that I would recomend people doing this is by joint the following groups/pages on face book or something similar.

It's not easy being GREEN

It is not a FAD it is a life style CHANGE.

Both have been set up by women who live in the midlands and are passionate about trying to make a difference in their own life's and trying to Surport and encourage people to do the same.

This is done one step at a time.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU 2020 "Not on the high street"

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP Christmas Shopping

It is the 11th December 2019 and in stead of focusing on December 12th 2019.

I am looking at my Christmas shopping again.

I had a promo code for Tesco's come though for Tesco's only vailed until 17th December 2019

XXHTFL (I CAN NOT USE THIS CODE)

At the moment I have put every thing that I would love to buy in my on line shopping basket taking my on line order up to £ 333.90.  With the prom code I would get £25.00 off if I order today.  Taking my balance down to.

£309.90  BUT this breaks my rules and my budget so what do I do? (CODE CAN NOT BE USED BY ME)

I have already saved £60.74 buy looking at the bargains some that I will losses if I do not ordered today.

My aim is to spend no more than  £40.00 per week on my shopping bill so what should I do?

I have lapsed a lot recently due to not being able to use my Healthy Start Vouchers on line and in store only.

I have also been using the online Change for Life Apps due to my son having detail problems and having to look more at my children's diet and my own.

So what I will now do is only buy the food that the deals run out on first, unless I need the items.

This is why writing a list helps even when shopping on line or keeping track of the items that you buy regular and add into your online favourite online shopping list.

(This can help and cut down shopping time and help to budget.)

One thing that I also look at is Items in Basket, and Guide prise to help you with an idea of how much your shopping is costing and how many items you are getting for your money.

Also do not get sucked in by deals they do not always save you money.  SO if you have time try and work out the costings before buying BOGOF items etc.

One thing that you are also recommended to do is to add any clear notes do your shopping list.

At this time of the year if you do not then they may not send whet you want.  BUT you can say NO at the door and they will REFUND YOU.

One thing that I will do is put in my diary when the deals and my vouchers expire so I can plan my shopping more in 2020.

But with two children in nappies, I am finding keeping my order at £40.00 per week a challenge due to the cost of wapes and nappies so I have changes it to £50.00 per week until both of my little ones are 100% DRY.

The one thing I hate about shopping on line is when it can take forever to check out just like when you are in store.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP What Magazine?

Over the next few months we will be scanning the shelves to see which magazines that we would recomend buying or possibly subscribing to in 2020.

With all magazines on line now and on social media is it worth buying them in paper back?

We will also be looking at advertising some of our new products in selected magazines in 2020.

So please stay up to date by clicking on the subscribe by email button on our blog, and Facebook page.

We will also be adding a magazine review page to our blog(s) pages too.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP Time for me.

"5 minuets please."  We have all been their were all we want is 5 minutes.
But when you think about it there is a lot that you can do in 5 minutes.
So why is it that so may of us say that we do not have the time.  Not even for a minute yet alone five.
I think that it is time that we all just stopped and took a long deep breath and then breath out.
Then either write out or print out a daily planner.  Then write out a typical day.
Then look at it and keep a copy of it on the fridge door.
You will be surprised how many 5 minutes you have in the day where you do not really do anything at all.
Yiu have probably just spent 5 minutes reading my blog up to now.
So now you have an idea of how much time you really have.
STOP
THINK
PLAN
DO
What is it that you would like to do?
How are you going to do it?
Do it!
It will take time and not happen over night, so why not make a list every day and see what you can achieve.
Do not feel bad about not completing it, just add to the following list tomarrow until you are happy with your personal achievements.
What should happen is that over time you will be come more focused and confident in yourself and become more organized and manage your time.
For me it is to always be one day a head with meal planning for the family.
That way I know.
What to buy.
What to cook.
How to budget.
So figures crossed I will look at doing this starting from tomarrow.
For now I am having 5 minuets to just.
STOP
RELAX
BREATH
Before I start planning.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP Computer Games Yes or No?

When it comes to staying fit and healthy I am one of the last people to jump into playing computer games.

It is never been any thing that I would recommend, setting in front of a computer screen for hours at a time.

I would always say go for a walk or read a book.

But since computer games started to become more physical and more hands on. With Wi-Fi (I do not have one. I have found myself looking into computerise games as tool and a way to teach my children different skills that may help them later in life.

I have always said that learning to read and writes a must and so is keeping up to date with Information Technology.

So for the first time this week end I allowed my children to play a computer game.

We did this as a family by linking the computer to the TV so that every one could join in and take turns.

I am not very computer orientated and so I picked up some computer games from a local charity shop for about 50p each.

GOOD IDEA FOR GIFTS.

I then crossed my fingers and toes and hoped that I could get them to play knowing that some times this dose to all ways happen.

For the first time we managed to play as a family with everyone joined in.

The Games that we played I have listed below.

Other world Spring of Shadows Hidden Object Game By Blacklime Games /Big Fish (aged 7)
Dora the Explorer Lost City Adventure Nickelodeon (aged 3+)

Now ever playing computer games I found both of these every had to do so teaching my children what to do was a challenge.

All I can say is thank you to all of those gamers out their who put out information on how to play these games and how to “cheat.”

I was so happy that I was able to interact with my boys on a cold wet day and actually teach them something.

I pick these games because they are about problem solving and really get your mind thinking and looking at how things work.

I know that in the past there was a big promotion about “Brain Training” and things like cross words, work searching and Sudoku where all the range.

Now it is all about being creative and colouring and painting by number.

For me I think that little and often is the key.

So my aim with my boys is that on a Sunday afternoon we will look at playing a game as a family.

I already have a rule that Sunday is family day no mobile phones are allowed. At times this can be a challenge due to both me and my children's dad being self employed and running most of your lives on line now.

But for one day a week I like to turn off and just live with out the phone.

So my plan with be to check out what games I have and make sure that I know how to set them up and if some games do include multiply players I will look into this.

I still love board games but I know that with the game being on my PC then I am not going to have to worry about my little ones losing the pieces of putting them into their mouths.

Aims

Also I now that the games are off line and will not cost me money if my children were to click on the wrong box so to speak.

I am hope to improve family time by allowing this one day a week treat.

Enable the boys to learn and improve their IT skills.

Improve their thinking, memory, manual dexterity,, communication, team building and confidence.

So we shall see.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP UPDATING MY SELF

When I say that I am updating myself, I mean my online self.

Ever since the internet and social media sites were invented, their seams to be more on line of ones self then one may whish.

By this happening it is easier for anyone to be come venerable and become a victim.

Many potential future contacts that you may whish to have with someone will mean that they are likely to google you first.

Sometimes this can be positive, but mostly it is a negative result and can back fire on you.

So protecting your self online is very import and knowing how to protect your online self is very import.

This is also not to protect yourself but your family to, epically your children.

If there are things on line that you no longer whish to be on line that are picked up by google you can contact them and request fro them to be removed including things like on address, and images.

However this many take some time and not work right away.

One thing that I always recomend people to do is goggle them self at lest every six months and make sure that you are happy with what you find.

One thing that I did not know was when I have set some of my images to private on model websites, facebook and YouTube that they can still be picked up by google and be viewed.

So it pays to check online settings before joining and posting anything online first.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP Bite Medical Health Study for Warwickshire University and Nottingham Uni...

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Finding your self again.

To "Find yourself again, what dose that really mean?

For some it may be classed as a "mid life crisis"

For some a "Year out/ Gap Year"

Or looking at reinventing ones self  like Madonna seams to do very 1 to 2 years.

People always say " A change is as good as a holiday"  But again what dose that really mean too?

When people say that they are "content" are they really happy or have they just become stuck " in a rut" or " just settled?

I am just tired thinking bout these thing and not just typing/ blogging about it.

So what dose any of this really mean to me?

One thing that I have done is set up a number of social media pages and groups on different social media sites to help me break down my thinking and my life.

I find it easy to "part mentalises my life."  JOKE!

To take time of me and my "inner child."

So over the past few weeks I have been making some new goals and trying to reach them, I have had to be more focused and look at things that I can achieve and would like to achieve in the future.

I personally have found this to be quite a challenge and I still have not really set any major goals for my life yet.

One of my main goals in being financially stable this is a goal that I aim to achieve on a weekly and monthly.  I feel that being able to budget and to not constantly live from hand to mouth is a goal that I need to keep track of.

My other goal is to become more healthy and happy with myself.  So I will see how things go over the next few months.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Think of your core.

Today I did something for myself that I should have done 5 years ago.
In fact it is something that everyone should be doing for at least 5 minuets aday.
247/365(6) per year.

That is working on your inner core muscles.
I am another of three children under 5 and I went to yoga for the first time in over 10 years.
We were working on your core muscles today.

I needed it!
Since having my three children I was informed that I have a three to four gap separation between my inner core muscles due to carrying my children.
But even if you do not have children or are Male with out proper TLC your core muscles will lose there strength and your health over time will be come effected.

Until today I did not know this and is something I will now aim to work on daily and research more about.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU SEPTEMBER 2019 TIME TO DECLUTTER.

with my children going back to school, now is the time to declutter and get rid of anything that you no longer need.
Many of us now with be looking for gifts for the festive holidays so why not look at what you could sell online, swap or donate before taking it to the tip or putting it into the bin.
With most families in poverty or just above the bread line why not look at saving money over the next month instead of spending it.
My task for my readers is to try and do the following.
Save £20.00 this month
Earn £20.00 from selling unwanted items.
Donate 20 unwanted items
Recycle  20 of unwanted items
Swap an item.
Upcycle one item.
I know this might sound over ambitious but when you really think about it people tend to hold so much stuff myself especially so looking around my house there is probably more than 20 things that I could probably donate or sell this month alone so why not try it and then you can have a little bit of an ass tag before the colder weather draws in.
Just by saving something as simple as £20 a month could help towards pay your mortgage or rent your fuel bills the phone bill put food on the table for your family or even buying that gift that you wanted so why not try it and see what happens.

Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Why not look at making a Snow Globe this Christmas to help reduce the amount of plastic waste or jam jars that you use in your house

https://youtu.be/Xe8szRQAhns

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Time for Tea

One thing that I love tea. In my home it is all ways "tea time." So when the boys go back to school I am going to look at different types of teas and where to buy them from.
I am looking at buying teas that are now made in the UK and seeing if they are better for you and if buying "home made" UK teas are better than buying teas made from "overseas."

Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Cleaning our bins.

One think that a lot of people tent to over look is cleaning.
I myself am guilty of this.
How many of us hand on hart can remember the last time they cleaned any of the following.
Bin
Toilet (all of it/ handle only)
Fridge and freezer (all of it/handle only)
Door handles
Hand rails
Sinks, bath, shower ( all of it/just taps)
Over
Kettle handle.
Floors
Ceilings
Windows
Beds
A lot of these items in the house often seem to be overlooked.
A lot of germs as most of us are aware of from touch contact and transfer and yet it is these main things that we tend to touch on a daily basis that we tend to overlook when it comes to cleanliness.
A lot of the time especially if you work in food industry or any working in establishment they would accept you to clean as you go but again it is something in your own home you tend to be complacent about doing.
One thing I would recommend note however is cleaning your pain after it has been emptied before reusing it this is something that I am aiming to do know that my children are back at school.
I also I'm going to be implementing and no shoes policy in the house.
With regards to cleaning handles fridges freezers and anything in the bathroom I would recommend doing that after every time you use use those items.
Although by doing this you should hopefully reduce the risks of any germ being transmitted having too much of a clean house is not good for the immune system either.
Because natural good bacteria can ultimately end up being destroyed and bacteria that you do want to be destroyed can Wycombe autoimmune to cleaning products.
Also if you are an added cleaner such as my mum you have to think about what is it you're going to use to clean with are you going to use wipes that you throw away which are mainly plastic which then add to microplastics and Plastics in the environment or do you use cloth that can then be washed in your washing machine which again is a risk and adds to energy consumption and ultimately CO2 and greenhouse gases.
Whichever way you look at doing this it is always going to be an outcome to any cleaning that you look at doing around the house I myself use paper towels which I don't can put in a compost bin and then breaks down into compost throughout the year.
I also used cloth that I can wash and I also use Dettol wipes I do not use spray as the chemicals if breeding can cause breathing problems after long-term exposure.
I use this combine way of cleaning in order to try and prevent me constantly using products that are single use Plastics used once and throw away but at the same time you don't want to be cleaning your house only to be harbouring germs and bacteria on the cross that you have used the best option for that is to obviously make sure that you dispose of any cleaning products or wash them as soon as possible.
Otherwise once again you aren't actually cleaning you are just transferring James to another location.
The other thing that I tend to buy a lot of as well is lemon and Limes which again I use because they are a natural cleaning products along with vinegar to clean things such as handles as opposed to buying packets of wipes or sprays which again are ultimately single use plastic and end up 99% of the time in in a landfill.
A x I know a lot of this is teaching your grandmother to suck eggs but everyone is complacent at time and it comes to hygiene especially when you have three little ones running around but now they are back at school I'm in Devon to try and cut down my carbon footprint by using cleaning products that are more environmentally find me to help reduce the amount of wasted but also to prevent any unwanted and unnecessary illnesses that my children and now we pick you up due to being back at school.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Phil Collins - Another Day In Paradise (Official Music Video)

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall (HQ)

I posted this on 6/15/19 on my blog and now in 2020 so much for schooling.

everyone is now home schooling due to Covid 19.

So no worry about anyone becoming "just an other brick in the wall."

The only problem we know is, how are we going to start building walls and buildings in the future with out any strong foundations?

Over the last moth a lot have people have found home-schooling to be a challenge, hopefully over time it will become a normal way of life.

Or state schooling will be set up again for the future generations to come.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Easter 2019 Endding Nest Eggs for 2019

With Easter ending for another year and April 2019 drawing to a close what changes have you been thinking about in your life?

Over the Easter holiday I have been thinking a lot about "eggs" mainly "nest eggs" of myself and my children.

So I will be looking at how to pout some money a side, saving and investments.  It is at this time of the year that banks start to try and "fish" you in and interest rates change.  So it is probably a good idea to see what your bank can offer you and what other service are on the "high" street.

With allot of people now banking on line it is important to keep an eye on your spending habits and on line safety measures.  I known that the bank that I am with are good for this and by going on money advise sites and local online reviews; you can find out more about what is currently on offer.

one thing that I am looking into is a business banking, student grants and learning more about converting money into other currency's and the stock market.

I feel that buy doing this it may help me to save more and also to get my money working for me and not just be sitting in a bank account a 0% interest which is the way a lot of banks seam to be going.

In time I would like to own some property, but this is a long term dream and not one that can happen over night.

So why not think about what you could achieve buy the end of 2019 to have a little bit of money tucker away for a "rainy day" even if it is just putting all you 1p and 2p into a jam jar in the kitchen cupboard.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP April 2019

Now is the time to do a new budget plan, I have posted a link to a budget plan sheet to help you get the ball rolling.

NHS Prescription are increasing, bus fare and postal costs.  Not to mention council tax, water bills, gas and electric so now is the time to look at where you could save money and lower your over heads.  With the lighter nights and warmer weather it is time to look at planting out and maybe growing your own fruit and veg.  This can even be done in a window box, an egg box, tin can or even a plastic bottle.

Not everyone as a garden so why not look at plants that you can grow in doors on your windowsill and indoor plants so help brighten up your home and help to purify the air.

Instead of using the car or public transport why not think about walking or biking to work, to visit fiends and loved ones or just for personal recreation.

on my blog is now useful links to other websites and social media sites, pages and groups that may help you to budget for 2019 and to hopefully replenish that "Rainy day fund."

So please feel free so subscribe to my blog(s), page(s), group(s) to be kept up-to-date with ne posts and events.

Also if you lick on the images on my blog(s) they will direct you to an other social networking site,

Thank you for reading and GOOD LUCK.

"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Almost April 2019

Hello, thank you for viewing my blog; please do not forget to subscribe via email to be kept up to date with any additional posts.

At the top of my blog I have added a number of local charities that I have supported and have been supported by that are near to my home town.  I am a strong believer that charity begins at home and I am looking at setting up my own local charity in the future called "The Health Boat."

"The Health Boat" is to help to support the local community of my home town and to branch out to support people with in the midlands.  It is called "The Health Boat" due to everyone being in the same boat at one time or another and that being healthy is the most important thing that I believe helps anyone have a happy and positive life.

My aim is to help to support people in being healthy in Mind, Body, Spirit, home and away.  I aim to do this by selling Vegan products and items that are sold, made and produced within the UK. With the money raised to help to support people to help them self's.

To support other I would be looking at working in partnership with other local charities, services, business, training embellishments, the NHS and the local council.

To achieve this I will need the help and support from the local community to get the ball rolling.  For now all I am asking for is for people to like and follow my fakebook page(s) and group(s)

The Health Boat.

It is not a Fad  "It's a life style change."

For more information please contact me.

If you have found any of the information on the bog of interest and would like to make a donation no matter how small please feel free top do so.

This can be done via the Pay pal link below or emailing me direct to get the address to send things to that are displayed on the Wish list.

Thank you for your support.
