I myself will modi some of the recipes in the book and will prepare the meals in advance so that I can stick to my plan of finishing the book.

One thing that I know very little about is Beans and the once that are in the Lemon and Ginger Spicy Beans. (Page 116).

Beans?

Black-eyed beans (need to Buy)

aduki beans (need to buy)

haricot beans (need to buy)

Black-eyed beans

The black-eyed pea, black-eyed bean or goat pea, a legume, is a subspecies of the cowpea, grown around the world for its medium-sized, edible bean. The common commercial variety is called the California Blackeye; it is pale-colored with a prominent black spot. In the American South there are countless varieties,

aduki beans

is an annual vine widely grown throughout East Asia and the Himalayas for its small bean. The cultivars most familiar in Northeast Asia have a uniform red colour, however, white, black, gray, and variously mottled varieties

haricot beans/ Navy bean

The navy bean, haricot, pearl haricot bean, boston bean, white pea bean, or pea bean, is a variety of the common bean native to the Americas, where it was domesticated. It is a small, dry white bean which is smaller than many other types of white beans, and has an oval, slightly flattened shape.

If you do not like these beans I am sure that other beans that you like would be a good idea to use instead.

I have not done this yet due to finishing off food that I already have stored and need to use up after the festive holidays.
