Time to re budget again in 2023.

Time to re budget again in 2023.

February 15th 2023

Next week will be Pancake Day and the Lent.

So I am using the rest of this week to re budget for the the next 40 Days and 40 Nights so that I can afford my sons Birthday Party.

With the cost of living going up I am trying to plan for the future and the one thing that I would like to do this year is to

Raise money for my chosen charity.

Plan my sons Birthday

Celebrate my 40th

Go to the beach.

Keep food on the table

Keep my bills paid

Stay homed

Stay out of debt

Finish my book.

What are your plans?

Who will achieve them?

I will start by re budgeting.

Being Closer to Nature

    Being Closer to Nature

I think that one thing that I love about home schooling is the ability to get closer to nature and to chose what items I use to teach my children and where I buy them from.

One thing that I have always done with my children is to teach them that second-hand is OK to buy despite Covid 19.

I was not brought up to use second-hand and was told to always buy new, but now that I am a parent I am happy to teach.

Reduce

Reuse

Recycle

Upcycle

is the new way to live life.

So one thing that I am looking at doing is to keep some of the things that I teach seasonal and to be more closer to nature and use what we have around use to learn who to live life to the full.

This year we were not really able to do any foraging like we have in the past, so I am going to use the items that I already have around the house and have not done any thing with yet.

What we will do is make then in to gifts for our family and friends and also to decorate the house with.

So please follow us during our gift making session over the next few day(s)

Alice in Wonderland Down the Rabbit hole. By Lewis Carroll

Alice in Wonderland Down the Rabbit hole. By Lewis Carroll

Chapter I: Down the Rabbit-Hole - Alice-in-Wonderland.net

it is the 24th May 2021 and once again I have had a fight with my ex. It always seam that when people fight they always seam to fight about about the same things.

Death and Taxes

Family and Friends

Property and money

Where should we go on holiday this year? Should we take the kids? Should we kennel the dog? Should we get some to house sit?

Over the last almost two years the world that we once knew is no more.

Ever since I was young I have wanted to be self-employed and run my own business I am now almost 40 and I should may be look at making a B-movie or sitcom of how many times I have failed.

Also I know is that I can not take one more shitty course on how to become self employed where some mild-aged person stands in front of a slid show.

Showing you that if you do A, B, C then you will get to D and be a millionaire with in three years.

So what do I do?

All I know it that I have had 101 and Jobs since leaving high school and now I am a full time mother to three child.

Who love to say “I hate you mum!”

So what so I do?

How do I move forward with out having to take 10 steps back and going down the “Rabbit Hole” like am “Alice in Wonderland.?” By Lewis Carroll alice in wonderland - Bing

My dirty weekend August bank holiday 2020 Carpet cleaning the Carpet

Up until 18 montha ago I did nit have a carpet in my rent house.  For the last 18months IU have had a carpet to make it more warmer underfoot for my chikdren to play on.

Now that my are almost toilet trainned I thought having a carpet would be good.

So I have now brought a carpet cleaner due to finding laminate nw to be that pratical with three very active child.

How ever one of the m ain thhings that I have found with a carpet is how much dirt csn be just under your feet and you just can not see it.

So I brought a carpet cleaner and I was shocked to see how much dirt was invisable to the naked eye.

My aim now is to try and carpet clean at least once a month.

Wednesday 18th November 2020

  Wednesday 18th November 2020

I can not believe that we are drawing so close to the end of an other year and the one thing that I can think of is how lucky that I am to still be alive and to be able to watch my children grow each day.

The hardest job I have had to do is to not just take care of myslef because no one else will do that for you, but to take care of my family.

I have used this time to go back to the drawing board and to work on my future goals and who I can hopefully move forward in 2021 and how my children will also.

One of the main things that I have done is go back to basics and I have done this by taking the time to draw up a budget plan and to try and average out my incomings and outgoings over the last 6 months so that I can start planing for the future.

I will add a budget plan link to this blog, if I have not already added one.
