"Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Food for 2018 Working thought my cook books.

Back to basics I set up the follow to blogs in 2017 which I am looking at updating in 2018

so the first thing that I am going to do is to start with the following cook book.

The Microwave Kitchen Handbook
By Carol Bowen
ISBN-13:978-1-84038-808-4

Now I hate microwaves and we have a bad history together. Due to my dyslexia I tent to burn them out, so they are only used when I have guests.

But Most people have a Microwave in their home and even if you use a food bank most food donated is Microwavable.

So I will go though this book and blog about how easy to was to use and to talk about the types of food you can cook in a Microwave. I will also try to still keep my budget fro shopping on a weekly basis to around the £50.00 per week.

One of the main ways that I am to do this is by planning each meal that I plan to cook my family each week.

The book it self List the following Contents

Introduction
Soups and Starters
Fish and Seafood
Meat and Poultry
Pulses, Pasta and Grains
Vegetables and Salads
Desserts
Backing
Cooking and Defrosting Chart
Index.

With this book it is bestial for most diary requirement, although this book does not cover Vegan or things like gluten free menu's. I am sure that most recipes could be tailored to personal dietary requirements

By wooing though this cook I will will divide my weekly menu accordantly and try to work though the book so that what I cook is done in accordance to each season.

I will start using the book from the first of January 2018. I will also look at using what food I already have in the house that needs using up too.

So the plan will be as followed.

Sunday
Soup/Starter Meat and Poultry Vegetables Desserts
Monday
Pulses, Pasta and Grain Vegetables Desserts
Tuesday
Soup vegetables Desserts
Wednesday
Vegetables Desserts
Thursday
Pulses, pasta and grain Vegetables Desserts
Friday
Fish and seafood Vegetables Desserts
Saturday
Soup/started Vegetables Desserts

So I will plan my Newsweekly of using this book until al of the recipes (where ever possible) are cooked.
