JACKSPRAT

28TH MARCH 2020

Jack Sprat Could Eat No Fat. Jack Sprat could eat no fat, His wife could eat no lean; And so betwixt them both, They lick'd the platter clean.

At its origins “Jack Sprat” was known as a proverb, and the term used to refers at short people in the 16th century.

Jack Sprat” Lyrics

Jack Sprat could eat no fat.
His wife could eat no lean.
And so between them both, you see,
They licked the platter clean
Jack ate all the lean,
Joan ate all the fat.
The bone they picked it clean,
Then gave it to the cat

AFTER READING THIS RHYME AGAIN WOULD YOU NOT SAY THAT IT IS STILL RELEVANT TODAY?

25TH MARCH 2020 DRINK MORE WATER.

25TH MARCH 2020

DRINK MORE WATER

IF ALL THE WORLD WAS PAPER AND ALL THE SEA WAS INK.”
IF ALL THE TREES WERE BREAD AND CHEESE.”
WHAT WOULD WE HAVE TO DRINK?”

"If All The World Were Paper ' is an old English folk song that dates back to at least the reign of Charles I. The song, with six verses, is printed in "Witt's Recreations" described as a book of 'ingenious conceites' and 'merrie medecines', published in 1641.

OVER THE NEXT COUPPLE OF MONTHS WHILST THE WHOLE WORD OS DEALING WITH THE CURRENT OUT BREAK. THE ONE THING THAT WE NEED TO THINK ABOUT IS WATER.

ALREADY THIS YEAR WE HAD ISSUES WHERE WE WERE HAVING SO MUCH RAIN IN THE UK THAT IT WAS CAUSING FLOODING.

YET THE TABLES COULD TURN WITH IN DAYS DEPENDING UPON THE WEATHER AND THE AMOUNT OF WATER THAT WE HAVE IN RESERVOIRS AND USAGE.

THE AVERAGE PERSON SHOULD DRINK AROUND 8 GLASSES OF WATER PER DAY. LIVING ON THE CANAL NETWORK WE WOULD USUALLY FILL UP THE WATER TANK ABOUT EVERY 2 WEEKS WITH A FAMILY OF FOUR ON BOARD.

SO OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS THINK ABOUT YOUR WATER USAGE AND THINK ABOUT HOW WE COULD LOOK AT CUTTING BACK BUT STILL STAY HEALTHY.

WITH EVERYONE ALL MOST ALL OVER THE WORLD ON LOCK DOWN, YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO POP TO YOUR LOCAL SHOP FOR TEA, COFFEE, MILK, JUICE OR SOMETHING ELSE.

SO IT WILL BE WATER THAT WE WILL ALL BE DRINKING (COUNCIL POP.)

MOST WILL DRINK STRAIGHT FROM THE TAPE, FILTERED OR BOILED.

SO PLEASE THINK ABOUT YOUR WATER USAGE EPICALLY DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.

PLAN NOW!

I HAVE INCLUDED SOME USEFUL LINKS BELOW.

REMEMBER

IF ALL THE WORLD WAS PAPER AND ALL THE SEA WAS INK.”
IF ALL THE TREES WERE BREAD AND CHEESE.”
WHAT WOULD WE HAVE TO DRINK?”

WHAT IS A NOUN?

Noun

A noun (from Latin nōmen, literally 'name') is a word that functions as the name of some specific thing or set of things, such as living creatures, objects, places, actions, qualities, states of existence, or ideas. However, noun is not a semantic category, so that it cannot be characterized in terms of its meaning. Thus, actions and states of existence can also be expressed by verbs, qualities by adjectives, and places by adverbs. Linguistically, a noun is a member of a large, open part of speech whose members can occur as the main word in the subject of a clause, the object of a verb, or the object of a preposition.

25TH MARCH 2020 SCRABBLE

25TH MARCH 2020

SCRABBLE

PLAY SCRABBLE! YESTERDAY FOR ME AND MY CHILDREN WAS A VERY GOOD EDUCATIONAL DAY.

WE PLAYED SCRABBLE.

MY OLDEST SON IS 6 SO HE IS AT THE AGE WHERE HE KNOWS A FEW WORDS AND HOW TO PUT SOUNDS TOGETHER. MY 4 YEAR OLD KNOWS THE ALPHABET

SO YESTERDAY WE PLAYED SCRABBLE FOR THE FIRST TIME AND EVEN FOR POINTS.

WE COULD ONLY PLAY WHILST MY 16MONTH OLD SLEPT SO WE MUST OF PLAYED FOR A GOOD HOUR OR TWO.

DURING THIS TIME I WAS ABLE TO FIND OUT WHAT WORDS, LETTERS AND NUMBERS MY CHILDREN KNEW.

CALLAN (AGED 6), I FOUND WAS VERY INDEPENDENT AND COMPETITIVE, ABLE TO SPELL SOME WORDS WITH FIVE LETTER IN ON HIS OWN.

BRYNDLY (AGED 4) LOVED COUNTING THE NUMBERS AND SHOUTING OUT THE LETTERS, KNOWING WORDS NO BIGGER THAN 2 LETTERS LONG. THIS WAS DUE TO CURRENTLY LEARN SOME KEY WORDS FROM SCHOOL. (FRECRENCY WORDS)

CALLAN I FOUND WAS IS ALSO VERY GOOD AT LONG DIVISION AND CAN DO LONG DIVISION FOR AGED 7-11 YEAR OLD. (HE COMPLETED A WORK BOOK FOR THIS AGE GROUP NEEDING VERY LITTLE SUPPORT.)

MYSLEF I AM THE POLAR OPPOSITE OF THIS AND I AM HAVING MY 6 YEAR OLD WIPING THE FLOOR WITH ME.

WE ALSO USED THE DICTIONARY. I JUST WANTED TO GRAB MY PHONE AND SHOUT INTO IT, SO THAT IT WOULD TELL ME THE CORRECT SPELLING AND THE DIFFINITION OF A WORD.

BUT I SAID TO MYSLEF “NO!”, “STOP!”.

I NEVER LEARNED HOW TO USE A DICTIONARY UNTIL I WAS IN MY 20’S, I FAILED MY GCSE ENGLISH DUE TO DYSLEXIA.

BUT THE OTHER REASON I FAILED WAS DUE TO NOT KNOWING HOW TO USE A DICTIONARY, KNOWING THE MEANINGS OF WORDS AND NOT KNOWING WHAT A KEY WORD WAS.

SO YESTERDAY I STARTED SHOWING CALLAN HOW A DICTIONARY WORKED AND GOT HIM TO WRITE DOWN THE WORDS AND THEIR DICTIONARY DEFINITION.

SO YESTERDAY CALLAN WAS TAUGHT WHAT IS A NOUN? I WILL DO A MINI TEST WITH HOME ON FRIDAY TO SEE WHAT HE LEARNT THIS WEEK AND REMEMBERED.

Music
soothes a savage beast”

Music
Soothes the Savage Beast Meaning. Definition:
Music
can calm one who is being aggressive
.
Two variations of this phrase are music calms the savage beast and
music tames the savage beast.

One
of the main thing that is going to effect peoples health in the
future is not lack of food of the body, it will be lack of food for
the mind, body and spirit.

So
one thing that I would recommend that people do is to start the
morning with music. Something uplifting to start the day with and
then some thing smoothing at night.

This
will not just make you feel better but the people that you live with
too.

So
why not try now?

Turn
o
ff
you TV, Turn off your phone, and just put on some music like your
favourite song.

It
may even make you want you get up and start dancing, which will help
keep you body healthy too.

Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Time Management, Home Schooling, Working from Home

18th March 2020

Time Management.  Time Management, Home Schooling, Working from Home

Over the next couple of weeks time management is going to be very import to everyone. How many time have you said to your self “their is never enough hours in the day.”?

Over the next few week that is how I belie many of use are going to start to feel not to mention very stressed out and tired, both mentally and physically.

All I can say is take each day, day by day and make sure that you try to eat well and sleep well.

Many people will be currently looking at changing there life style with looking at working from home and home school their children.

Many of us will not just be worry about out selves but family and friends to.

So what can we do?

The fist thing that I am aiming to do with my family is aim to stick to the same routine that I would have stuck to as much as possible with a few changes thrown in.

My aim is to still wake up at the same time every day, eat at the same time every day and sleep at he same time every day.

With my children at home full time and not able to go any where I know that this will be very challenging and stressful. I will aim to keep each day fun and interesting for them. At the same time I will aim to carry on with my own every day routine like cooking, cleaning, taking care of the baby and working on my book.

I will start by breaking the day down into units of 20 minuets and aiming to do 20 minuet tasks just like I would do at eh weekend.

20 minuets breakfast
20 minuets get dressed
20 minuets work
20 minuets rest
20 minuets play
20 minuets snack
20 minuets rest
20 minuets work
20 minuets play
20 minuets work
20 play
20 lunch
20 rest

20 minuets (you get the picture) I am only looking at 20 minuet blocks to start off with due to the change of having 3 children at home full time and confined to a small space will be challenging.

I know that my attention span and able to do any thing is about 20 minuets. To chive more than this it take time and practice epically for children.

Some time my children will be happy to engage in an activity for longer than 20 minutes like watching TV or playing with cars.

But they can not so that every day, I would like then to continue with their education and I will be
need to look at fun ways to achieve this whilst maintaining day to day living too.

So I will see what support and guidance is offered to support me before Friday and then start to plans my daily activates.

Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Food Industry Machines & Production Processes That Are At Next Level ▶ 2

Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU Food Industry Machines That Are At Another Level !

With most business using machines to do most work that would have been done buy human hands, this lock sown should not mean a reduction in productivaty?

Yet a human touch is still need in order to oversea and maintain the quility and the quantity of the products produced.

People are also need to design the machines in the first pkaces and to fix them when they need fixing.

So maybe during this lock down if you find your self out of work, look at employment of training in a line of work that maybe reuired in the future like Enginering.

Eat Well", "Shop Well" and "Save Well" to HELP take care of YOU"SHOPPING SMART"

14th March 2020 “SHOPPING SMART!”

Before anyone one goes out and starts buying any thing next week, maybe this weekend is the time to look a “SHOPPING SMART.” Take some time over the next 72 hours to clean your home and pull out everything that you have in your kitchen and bathroom; even check the attic or outbuildings.

How may of use will find food and other sinlessly supplies that we have forgotten about?

Also take this time to have a “CLEAN UP AND CLEAR OUT.” so that you know what it is that you really NEED.

Because at the moment it is TIME that is going to effect everyone in the long run and their are other things that I believe that people should be doing other that “PANIC BUYING” items that they think that they may need.

At the moment no one really knows what is going to happen in the next 3sec. 3min, 3hours, 3days, 3weeks, 3months, or 3 years.

To me 3 is the magic number. So proving you have three of everything that you may NEED, then it is a start.

  • It is the time that it takes of most products that we need to last. (food, warmth, shelver)
  • It is the length of time that it can can for something do be achieved or completed.(food, warmth, shelver)
  • It is usually the amount of time someone may have to have suitable amount of, food, warmth and shelter.
  • It it probably about the amount that people have to be financial secure and get (food, warmth, shelver)
  • It is usually the length of time one can aim to stay healthy, even if they are only living on baked beans. (food, warmth, shelver)

It is these 3 key things that everyone needs on a daily basis to stay health in mind, body and spirit.
(food, warmth, shelver)

So take some time to sit down over the next 72 hours and see what it is you need and then think of the needs of those around you.

Your family
Your Friends
Your Work Colleges
Your neighbours
Your local Community
Your Regional Community
Your National Community
Your Country.

Beacuse if you can not provide these three essential things for you self first in order to stay fit and well (food, warmth, shelver)

How are you going to provide then to other people.

So look at shopping smart because if we do not then what is to say the Government will not start steeping in and doing that for us.

I for one do not want that two happen, this should be a last resort.

That way when you do your shopping you know that you only need to buy one or up to three of something that you really need.

I always look at this way “ONE MEANS NONE.”

At the moment with the Corona Virus out break, the UK leaving the EU and the Budget not to far away now is the time to  think about acting.

If you click on the link below it will go to a budget sheet that you might find help full and could look at filling in and keeping at copy of.

With having an online or paper copy, it is good to be able to keep an up to date budget sheet and see where you could look at saving money for the "rainy day fund" or for "emergencies."

Even if it is just making sure that you keep £5.00 in your phone case.
